Practicing and celebrating the benefits of Yoga for over two decades one breath at a time. Playfully merging a background in arts and movement with a holistic career path for nearly 30 years as a Hospice & Palliative Nurse. Julie invites all ages, stages and sizes of people to embrace the healing power of mindful movement. Studying in Rishikesh India, Tibet and several other countries as well as in the states with Shiva Rae, Sharon Gannon & David Life. Embracing roots in Hatha, Vinyasa, Ayurvedic, Pi-Yo, Tantric, and Nidra – integrating mindfulness and meditation, while crafting a practice that is restorative yet invigorating. Certified in Aromatherapy, Healing Touch, Mindfulness, and Meditation-endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA). Certified by the Yoga Alliance. Since 2014, Julie has served on the National Yoga Alliance Education Committee. When not focusing on her Asana’s, Julie is movin and groovin to live music, experimenting with plant-based food & body tonics, contributes to WRBH’ weekend workout radio and also hosts a radio show about storytelling and public health on WHIV-FM and contributes to wellness magazines when not enjoying time with her inspiring family and friends.
